IT Technical Support Engineer (Operations Department)
Salary from £22,000 depending on experience Location Elstree, Hertfordshire
If you are looking for a challenge and speedy learning we are a fast growing business ISP expanding its client network support division and now recruiting for an enthusiastic Support Engineer.
You will be required to provide up to second line helpdesk support, and principally remote & onsite technical support for our client’s network with relation to hardware installs, routers & email client configuration, general troubleshooting, internet connectivity via DSL & dial-up, network printers, scanners. You will have good experience of Windows 2000/XP/Vista, windows Server 2000/2003/SBS, TCP/IP, anti-virus & anti-spam, networking etc. Experience within a large helpdesk environment would be highly desirable. Knowledge of Exchange 2007/SBS, Windows scripting (WSH) & group policies will be an advantage. As a field IT Support Engineer you will also be expected to have first class communication skills being able to establish excellent relationship with clients. Having full driving licence is essential. Own car is an advantage.
